CM releases Dr RS Pal’s book, ‘Manas Vid’

Dehradun, 22 Dec: A book, titled “Manas-Vid”, written by Dr. Ramesh Singh Pal, a senior scientist and writer working at the Vivekananda Hill Agriculture Research Institute in Almora, was released by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his official residence in Dehradun on 19 December.

The Chief Minister congratulated Dr Pal and said that spirituality has always been an integral part of the Indian Sanatan tradition. Considering the current state of society, the importance of spiritual books has increased even more. Uttarakhand has always been the Land of the Gods, and with the resolve of the Prime Minister, Uttarakhand is moving towards becoming a spiritual state.

Tehri MLA Kishore Upadhyay, who was present at the book launch, said that Dr Pal’s efforts are highly commendable, and his books are proving helpful in conveying various spiritual aspects of Sanatan Dharma to society.

It is worth noting that the current book, “Manas-Vid”, is Dr Pal’s sixth book and it is the Hindi translation of his English book, “I Know the Human Mind”. This book sheds light on various aspects of the human mind and also reveals psycho-spiritual mysteries. Dr Pal’s books have been included in the Parliament Library of India, as well as in the libraries of universities and prestigious institutions of the Government of India. Dr Pal is also a nominated expert from India for the UNESCO Inclusive Policy Lab.

On the occasion of the book launch, Dr Pal also apprised the Chief Minister about the research work being done at the Vivekananda Hill Agriculture Research Institute, Almora.

Also present were Master Lim See Fong, owner of Sambhala Kodo from Singapore, Yogi Seemant, President of Satbodh Foundation, Dehradun, Sam Richards, Harsh, and officials from the Chief Minister’s office.

The Vivekananda Hill Agriculture Research Institute, Almora, Director and staff, along with Mayor Ajay Verma, have extended their congratulations and best wishes to Dr Ramesh Singh Pal.
