Rishikesh, 18 Feb: IAS officer Radha Raturi visited Parmarth Niketan after being appointed the first woman Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand. She took the blessings of the President of Parmarth Niketan, Swami Chidanand Saraswati, and participated in the Parmarth Ganga Aarti.

“Uttarakhand is fortunate to have the amazing power of Radha Raturi as its Chief Secretary, and also the first woman Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court, Justice Ritu Bahri,” stated Swami Chidanand Saraswati. “In fact, this is the era of Matra Shakti, and under the leadership of young Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, we will see extraordinary changes in this lovely state.”

Swami Chidanand added that Uttarakhand is as famous for its culture as it is for its natural beauty. This state has a unique culture full of divinity and beauty. The traditional rites, rituals, faith, folk songs, customs, language and friendly atmosphere is amazing. Over the ages mother power has taken care of the entire mountain, be it the home, family, children, elders, farms and animals.

The Swami told Raturi that Uttarakhand is doing amazing work in the field of hill region tourism. After G-20, the fame of Uttarakhand has spread far and wide on the world map, but now there is a need to understand the pain of those who are taking care of their family and children, alone, with steely courage in the mountains.

Chief Secretary Raturi said that the meeting with Swami Chidanand was very meaningful. She said that sensitive issues of Uttarakhand were discussed with him.
