Agriculture Minister Joshi reaches Goa to attend national conference

Goa, 19 Jun: Uttarakhand Agriculture Minister, Ganesh Joshi, reached Goa today on his three-day visit on Monday.
It was reported that Kausamba and Goa State Agricultural Marketing Board will hold a National Conference on “e-NAM: Operational Difficulties and Opportunities” under the chairmanship of Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi and Chairman, National Council of State Agricultural Marketing Boards on June 19-21, 2023 in Goa.
A total of 25-30 Indian delegates from various State Agricultural Marketing Boards of India namely Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Punjab, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Goa, etc., will participate in the conference and exchange their views.
National Agriculture Market (e-NAM) is a pan-India electronic trading portal that networks existing APMC mandis to create a unified national market for agricultural commodities. Also, the representatives of the Small Farmers Agri-Business Union, Government of India, Nagarjuna Fertilizer & Chemical Limited, Hyderabad and Agricultural Economist, Government of India will share their knowledge about e-NAM and have a detailed discussion among the delegates.
