Dehradun, 26 Apr: Experts at Graphic Era deliberated at a conference held on the use of AI in human resources and data-driven decision-making.
A three-day conference on human resource analytics and AI held at Graphic Era Deemed to be University concluded with the valedictory session today. The Chief Guest, ISTD President Anup Kumar, said on the occasion that, in the current competitive era, the importance of data and analytics is increasing. He stated that accurate analysis enables better decisions and institutions need to adopt new technologies while effectively utilising data for progress.
Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Santosh S Sarraf said that this is the era of AI, in which the role of humans will not diminish but become even more significant. He noted that data-driven decision-making will enhance efficiency and yield better outcomes across various sectors.
During the three-day conference, several technical sessions were organised. Discussions were held on topics such as human resource analytics, manpower retention, case-based decision-making, employee attrition analysis, predictive and prescriptive analytics, and AI-based workforce management.
The conference was organised by the Department of Management Studies of Graphic Era Deemed to be University. The event was attended by Head of the Department Dr Ajay Pandey, Dr Navneet Rawat, Dr Girish Lakhera, Dr Khyati Kapil, Dr Ratnankar Mishra, Dr Shaivya Dixit, along with other faculty members and students.
