Dehradun, 8 Jun: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified preparations to showcase the achievements of the Modi government over the past eleven years. In a significant virtual meeting held today, the party’s state media and social media teams convened to finalise plans for a month-long campaign celebrating the government’s milestones in ‘Seva, Sushasan evam Garib Kalyan’ during the Amrit Kaal of a developed India.
The meeting, steered from the party headquarters on Balbir Road, was chaired by State General Secretary (Organisation) Ajaey Kumar. He urged all the teams concerned to ensure that the government’s achievements reach every household across Uttarakhand.
State Media In-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan announced that the campaign would kick off on 9 June with a press conference by National President JP Nadda in Delhi. In Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will address the media in Dehradun on 10 June. Similar events will follow in all the districts of Uttarakhand on 11 and 12 June, where MPs, ministers, MLAs, and party leaders will highlight progress made by both central and state governments.
The meeting also discussed preparations for Prabuddh Jan Meet (Intellectuals’ Meet) in each district and Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha (Developed India Resolution Assembly) at the Mandal level from 12 to 16 June. Plans were finalised for Mohalla Chaupals in cities and Panchayat Chaupals in villages to encourage public participation in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp.
During the meeting, the role of media and social media was also emphasised upon by the speakers to maximise outreach, especially regarding multipurpose registration camps at the assembly constituency level. A comprehensive work plan for video and pictorial graphics events and exhibitions under a digital competition in all districts was also prepared.
Addressing the gathering, Ajaey Kumar stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Amrit Kaal of a developed India is progressing with a focus on service, good governance, and welfare for the poor. He also reminded the participants of the “remarkable development and preservation of heritage” achieved over the past eleven years, noting India’s rapid transformation in infrastructure, industry, education, health, public welfare, and social reform. He called upon the media and social media teams to ensure that the achievements of the central and state governments are communicated effectively to every individual at the Mandal and booth levels, stressing the crucial role of these platforms in the campaign’s success.
The virtual meeting was coordinated by Manveer Singh Chauhan. Among those present at the meeting were BJP’s State General Secretary Khilendra Chaudhary, Social Media In-charge Naveen Thakur, State Co-Media In-charges Rajendra Singh Negi, Rajiv Talwar, and Karun Datta. State spokespersons including Vinod Suyal, Madhu Bhatt, Kamlesh Raman, Honey Pathak, Sunita Vidyarthi, Manik Nidhi Sharma, Dr Devendra Bhasin, Rajeshwar Painuli, and RP Raturi, along with district media in-charges, media panelists and social media office-bearers, also joined virtually.
The BJP’s campaign will run from 9 June to 9 July, aiming for extensive public engagement and widespread dissemination of the Modi government’s accomplishments across Uttarakhand.
