Dehradun, 2 Nov: BJP State Spokesperson Ravindra Jugran today met Dr Purushottam, Secretary, Higher Education, Government of Uttarakhand, and held discussions on three key issues. The Secretary took immediate action on all three matters and issued necessary directions for their resolution.
Regarding the proposed amendments to the Assistant Professor Recruitment Rules, the Secretary informed that efforts are underway to place the amendments before the next Cabinet meeting for approval.
On the issue of conducting the Uttarakhand State Eligibility Test (U-SET), the Secretary directed the officials to submit the relevant file for further action.
Further, regarding the vacant posts at M.K.P. College, the Secretary directed the Chief Development Officer (CDO), Dehradun, who is also the Administrator of the college, to take immediate steps to fill the vacancies.
