BL Santosh urges BJP activists to work with positive mindset, combat opposition propaganda

Dehradun, 31 Jul: BJP National General Secretary, Organisation, BL Santosh is currently on a two day official visit to Uttarakhand. Today was the concluding day of his visit to Dehradun. He addressed the party workers and asked them to not bother about the negative propaganda being spread by the Opposition parties but work and move ahead with a positive outlook.

Santosh addressed joint meetings of media, social, media, IT forums of the party at a private hotel on Haridwar Road. Addressing the meetings, he observed that the level of discussion and the issues being raised by the Opposition leaders and the parties were falling by the day. He said that BJP has to fight them but the party workers and leaders need to maintain the ideological and cultural level and the decorum intact. Santosh called upon the party workers to focus on the achievements of the Modi Government at the Centre and of the BJP Government at the state level and make people aware of the party’s programmes and policies as well as of the work being done in the national and public interest. The BJP workers need not stoop to the level of the Opposition in order to make a point.

The BJP National General Secretary claimed that BJP has wonderful achievements to show under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. The BJP governments are doing good work, so the only need is to create a positive attitude.

After the meeting, BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt briefed the media. He said that programmes of all forums and the Morchas (fronts) of the party would be conducted with the aim of ensuring a Congress-free Uttarakhand for a long time to come. District level and divisional level workshops of social media would also be organised soon. Apart from this, various programmes of the youth, scheduled caste, tribal and OBC fronts will be organised in the coming days, in which party workers and leaders will contact ordinary and eminent people in areas where the reach of the party is less. Similarly, public support will be increased by connecting the beneficiaries of various schemes with the party through the Mahila Morcha.

Bhatt added that, under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “Mera Desh Meri Mati” campaign will be launched in the state with public participation on a large scale. In the Amrit Kalash Yatra, soil from the houses of the martyrs will be collected from all the blocks of the state. Similarly, inscriptions of local martyrs and important persons will be placed at Amrit Saraovars, village ponds and public gathering places.

Party’s state in-charge Dushyant Gautam, state general secretary, organisation, Ajaey Kumar, state general secretary Ajey Kothari, Rajendra Bisht, Khilendra Chaudhary, state vice-president Kuldeep Kumar, state media in-charge Manveer Chauhan, social media in-charge Naveen Thakur, state spokespersons Khajan Das, Vinod Suyal, Virendra Bisht, Vipin Kainthola, Vikas Bhagat, Madhu Bhatt, Honey Pathak, Sunita Vidyarti, Kamlesh Uniyal, Ajit Negi, Sanjeev Sharma, Manik Nidhi Sharma, Karun Dutta and many other prominent party leaders like Asha Nautiyal, Shashank Rawat, Sameer Arya were present on the occasion.
