Dehradun, 14 Jan: State Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today participated in the annual Gurmat Samagam on Makar Sankranti at the Gurudwara Dakra Bazaar, Garhi Cantt. Bhajan Kirtan was performed in the programme.
On this occasion, Joshi paid obeisance at the Gurudwara and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. He reminded that, not only the country but the whole world is proud of the unique sacrifice of four Sahebzadas. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid tribute to Guru Gobind Singh by observing the martyrdom day of the four princes as Veer Bal Diwas.
Joshi also announced the installation of a 20 kilowatt solar plant on the tin shed of the Gurdwara Committee.
Present on this occasion were Gurdwara Managing Committee head Sardar Dalip Singh, General Secretary Gurmeet Singh, BJP leader Devendra Pal, Gurdeep Singh, Inder Jeet Singh and many others.
