Dehradun, 16 Sep: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today visited several disaster-affected areas of Dehradun district, including Sahastradhara, Seragaon, Rajpur’s Kanthbangla Basti, and Karligad, to take stock of the damage caused by heavy rains. Returning from his Delhi visit, the Minister immediately reached the affected sites to assess the situation firsthand.

During the inspection, he met with affected families, inquired about their well-being, and assured them that the State Government stands firmly with them in this hour of crisis. He directed officials to carry out relief and rescue operations on a war footing to ensure no victim faces delays in receiving assistance.
At Seragaon, the Minister also joined SDRF personnel and disaster-affected families at a relief camp, where he served and shared meals with them. He emphasised that the Government’s top priority is to provide immediate relief and extend all possible assistance to those in need.
BJP State Secretary Neha Joshi, former Seragaon Pradhan Ratan Negi, Sanjay Singh, and several local residents were also present during the visit.
