Dehradun, 20 Nov: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today inspected the ongoing construction of the largest community building in Uttarakhand at Garhi Cantt, at the Chief Minister’s initiative. The project, costing over RS 10 crore, is set to become the most significant community facility in the region. During the inspection, Minister Joshi directed the executing agency’s officials to complete the construction work within the stipulated timeframe.
On the occasion, Minister Ganesh Joshi expressed his gratitude towards Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, stating, “The schemes inaugurated by the Chief Minister are successfully completed and inaugurated. Under his leadership, our government is continuously working towards strengthening public amenities in the state.” He further emphasised that once the construction of this massive community building is completed, it will prove to be a blessing for the residents of Garhi Cantt, providing a venue for weddings, social events, and other community functions. He confirmed that the inauguration of the building will take place in January and will be dedicated to the public by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Additionally, the Cabinet Minister met office-bearers of the Dakra Bazar Vyapar Mandal, who raised concerns regarding the construction of a bridge. Minister Joshi immediately contacted the Disaster Secretary via phone and instructed them to take necessary action. He reassured the traders that the construction of the bridge would begin soon.
The inspection was attended by Vishnu Gupta, Manoj Kshetri, Sarika Khatri, Prabha Shah, Megha Bhatt, Arjun Basor, and several others.
