Dehradun, 6 Jun: A special aid grant of Rs 56.46 crore approved by Government of India for restructuring and strengthening of the Water Supply system of Mussoorie. The state government has claimed that this special grant will resolve the drinking water supply problems in the hill town.
The Government of India has approved a special grant-in-aid of Rs 56.46 crore to the state of Uttarakhand for the ‘Mussoorie Restructuring Water Supply Scheme’.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government for the approval. Dhami said that, with the completion of the Mussoorie Restructuring Water Supply Scheme soon, there will be a permanent solution to the drinking water problem and ensure major relief to the residents.
