DEHRADUN, 26 Dec: Pushkar Singh, a resident of Dehradun, had lodged a complaint on the CM App a few days ago that he had retired from the post of Patwari in Tehsil Kotdwar on 31 January, 2018, but even after eleven months of retirement, he was unable obtain payment of his gratuity and arrears, forcing him to suffer financially and mentally.
Pushkar Singh stated that after getting tired of making the rounds of various offices to get his dues, he was advised to lodge a complaint on the CM App. Pushkar Singh downloaded the app and lodged his complaint.
On receipt of his complaint, the District Magistrate, Pauri, and Director, Treasury, were directed to look into the matter. The District Magistrate asked the officials concerned to resolve the matter at the earliest. Acting on the directives, SDM, Kotdwar, and the Chief Treasury Officer, resolved the problem.
Only a few days after registering his complaint, Pushkar Singh got his gratuity and arrears of Rs 2,17,397. He has thanked the Chief Ministers’ Office and other officials, and advised others also to use the CM App.
