CM gives financial approval of Rs 105 Cr for development schemes & construction works

Dehradun, 17 Jun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given financial approval of Rs 105 crore for the construction of various roads and schemes related to public facilities, etc., for the development of infrastructure facilities in various assembly constituencies of the state along with the preparations for Kumbh Mela-2027.
The Chief Minister has approved Rs 93.36 lakh for the beautification and renovation of Haruhit Temple Kadholi Nagar Panchayat Bhikiyasain, Rs 56 lakh in the first instalment and Rs 72.67 lakh for the beautification of Maa Bal Kunwari Mata Temple located in Kathud Bada, Devikhal under development block Dwarikhal, approving the first instalment of Rs 43.60 lakh.
The Chief Minister approved a total of Rs 1.41 crore for Dehradun, Kashipur, and Haridwar districts for the construction of separate toilets and additional rooms for transgenders, disabled persons, and women in labour courts. He also approved a total of Rs 1.50 crore for the Tourism Department in the Ranikhet Assembly constituency of Almora district in the current financial year.

The Chief Minister also approved a total of Rs 4.96 crore for the installation of LED streetlights under the Municipal Corporation of Kotdwar and Rs 18.59 lakh for the construction of a Type III building for judicial staff at the Civil Court, Ramnagar, under Nainital district.
The Chief Minister also approved the approval of Rs 4.17 crore from the Government of India for the construction of a 50-bed barrack for the fire station in Mayapur during the Kumbh Mela 2027.
Under the ring fenced account, the Chief Minister has approved sanction of Rs 48.58 crore for construction of animal crematoriums in Municipal Corporation Haldwani-Kathgodam, Rudrapur, Haridwar, Roorkee and for disposal of legacy waste in Municipal Council Shivalik Nagar, Chamba, Karnaprayag, Bageshwar, Nagar Panchayat Sultanpur-Adampur, Dwarahat and for purchase of garbage vehicles and equipment in Municipal Council Nainital, Purola, Mahuakhedganj, Nagar Panchayat Gularbhoj and Banbasa.
The Chief Minister has approved Rs 7.76 crore for the reconstruction of the disaster-damaged main and internal roads along with drains for the Raipur Mandal Assembly Constituency of Dehradun district, Rs 13.73 crore for the widening of the road from Gaba Chowk to DD Chowk in Rudrapur city of Rudrapur Assembly Constituency of Udham Singh Nagar district and Rs 4.02 crore for the asphalting of the remaining part of Chenagad Baksir Motor Road under the development block Jakholi of Rudraprayag Assembly Constituency of Rudraprayag district.
Under the State Plan, the Chief Minister has approved Rs 3.87 crore for the improvement of Vijaypur-Pahadpani footpath in Haldwani development block of Lalkuan Assembly Constituency of Nainital district, Rs 9.87 crore for the improvement/asphalting of the road from Maunpokhari to Hareshwar Temple in Champawat Assembly Constituency of Champawat district, and Rs 4.06 crore for the strengthening of Hanumandham Temple motor road from Km 6 of State Highway Ramnagar-Kaladhungi-Haldwani-Ka Thagodam-Chorgaliya-Sitarganj-Bijti in Ramnagar Assembly Constituency in Nainital district under the State Plan.
