CM hands over appointment letters to 26 candidates selected through UKSSSC

Dehradun, 16 Jan: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami handed over appointment letters to 26 candidates selected for jobs in the Social Welfare Department, who were selected through the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC). The event took place at the Chief Minister’s residence, here, today. Those selected included 15 Assistant Accountants and 11 Junior Assistants.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated all the candidates who received appointment letters. He expressed hope that all the selected personnel would discharge their duties with dedication and hard work and will always be ready for the development of the state and public service. He said that many public welfare schemes are being run by the Central and State Governments under the Social Welfare Department.

He asserted that the Social Welfare Department plays an important role in ensuring that every eligible person gets timely benefits of the social welfare schemes. He asked everyone to work with honesty and discipline in the workplace and have an attitude of helping people. Any work done in the right spirit, gives a feeling of satisfaction in the mind, he asserted.

Dhami said that continuous efforts are being made by the state government to connect youth with employment and self-employment. Many recruitment processes are presently underway through various departments. To conduct recruitment examinations with complete transparency, a strict anti-copying law has been implemented in the state. After the implementation of this law, all recruitment examinations have been conducted with complete transparency.
