Dehradun, 23 Apr: In a solemn morning meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, silence for two minutes was observed to pay tribute to the innocent lives lost in the recent terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
Expressing profound grief over yesterday’s terror attack, the CM extended his deepest condolences to the families of the victims. He stated that on behalf of the people of Uttarakhand, he expresses his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families. This cowardly act is not only an attack on innocent lives but also an assault on the culture, peace, and values of humanity upheld by our nation.
Dhami further asserted that attempts by terrorists to destabilise Jammu and Kashmir would never succeed. He added that a befitting response would be given to this heinous act, and the perpetrators would not go unpunished.
