CM releases souvenir of Dandi Kanthi Club

Dehradun, 10 Dec: Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat released the Dandi Kanthi Club Souvenir, ‘Drid Sankalp’, at his official residence, here, today. He said that, in the souvenir, efforts have been made to make people aware about the culture of Uttarakhand, the saga of the statehood movement, as well as important places from the historical, religious and tourism point of view in the state.
The souvenir also includes information related to the prevention of covid infection.
The CM appreciated the efforts made to provide information about the cultural heritage and traditions of Uttarakhand.
President of Dandi Kanthi Club, Vijay Bhushan Uniyal said that the objective of the organisation has been to promote social issue. Along with this, it has also been his aim to make the migrants living away from the mountainous areas acquainted with their rich folk culture. It was also their endeavour to promote the culture and tradition of the state on the world stage.
Present on this occasion were General Secretary of Dandi Kanthi Club Krishnanand Bhatt, folk singer Geeta Ram Kanswal, Rajneesh Semwal, Neeraj Uniyal, Vijendra Sajwan, etc.
