DEHRADUN, 20 Jan: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami handed over appointment letters to the newly selected assistant accountants in Uttarakhand Forest Development Corporation and Higher Education Department. These recruitments have been made through Uttarakhand Public Service Commission. The appointment letters were handed over at a function held at the Chief Minister’s residence here on Saturday.
In all, 88 assistant accountants in the Forest Development Corporation and 8 assistant accountants in the Higher Education Department received the letters of appointment. While congratulating all the selected Assistant Accountants, the Chief Minister called upon them to work with sincerity, honesty and sense of duty by maintaining a regular routine right from the start in public interest. He said that this will result in a great self-satisfaction to them.
Dhami noted that the country has entered the Amrit Kaal (nectar) period of Independence. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target of making India a leading country in every field by 2047. All the youth will have to play an important role in this.
Dhami said that to make this decade the decade of Uttarakhand, the state government is working with full dedication in every field with public cooperation. With public participation, the state is moving towards the goal of progress in all fields . Along with employment, self-employment is also being promoted rapidly in the state. Requisitions for more recruitment processes have been sent to the State Public Service Commission (USPSC) and Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) through various departments. Recruitment processes for many posts are in progress. Industries are being promoted rapidly in the state. Among the investment proposals received by the state under Destination Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit, first priority is being given to those in which local people will get more employment opportunities.

On this occasion, Higher Education Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat, Chairman Forest Development Corporation Kailash Chandra Gahtodi, Vice Chairman Higher Education Upgradation Committee Dr Devendra Bhasin, Secretary Higher Education Shailesh Bagoli, Additional Secretary Ashish Srivastava, Managing Director Forest Development Corporation SP Subudhi were among those present.
