Dehradun, 25 Jul: ECO Club SAFE of Phool Chand Nari Shilp Girls’ Inter College planted 15 varieties of plants on the occasion of Sridev Suman Jyanti-2019.
Eco Club Coordinator Mona Bali stressed on the need to plant trees which would conserve the environment and strengthen Bio-Diversity. She said that the young members of SAFE have a duty to protect their environment and they ought to contribute to conservation of plants.
Saplings of Harsringar, Pride of India, Gulmohar, Gudhal, Kaner, Champa, Chameli and Rudraksh were planted in the college premises. All the members of SAFE took the oath to look after the planted saplings. Principal of the college Dr Kusum Rani Naithani was also present on the occasion. Tannu, Kajal, Preeti, Mansi, Muskan and other students whole-heartedly participated.
