Dehradun, 3 Sep: State BJP Media In-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan today called the Congress’s protest outside the BJP office a flop show and claimed it was merely a predetermined programme based on a fake script, of which the public is well aware. The reality of this script is known to the common people as well as Congressmen themselves.
Chauhan said that the survey by the National Annual Report and Index is data from a private company and has no connection with the Centre or the National Women’s Commission. He insisted that private surveys cannot determine statistics related to women’s safety. The State Women’s Commission and the Centre have also denied any such data or survey.
Chauhan alleged that just like the voter verification drive, by fanning the baseless issue of women’s safety, the Congress is trying to tarnish the state’s image, which he asserted, will not be tolerated. He claimed that the women are safe in the state, and the culprits of any crime having been committed have been sent behind bars. The Women’s Commission has also asked for a report and promised action for falsely associating Dehradun’s name with the wrong data.
The BJP leader advised the Congress that speaking loudly does not turn a lie into the truth. The Congress’s propaganda about vote theft has been exposed. He reminded that after spokesperson Pawan Khera, who is echoing Rahul Gandhi’s sentiments, his wife, Kota Neelima, also has also been found to be having two active EPIC numbers. He said that the real reason why the Congress is trying to obstruct the Election Commission’s campaign against fake voters has now come to light for the public. He said that any issue on which the Congress spreads misinformation is certain to face defeat in the court of the people.
