Dehradun, 15 May: State General Secretary of Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee, Naveen Joshi today claimed that the success story of Congress in Karnataka is an indication of political events to come. This success is indicative of BJP’s declining popularity and says a lot about the new political developments. He claimed that the ‘magic of lies’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started to weaken. Despite the fact that the Prime Minister had undertaken major rallies in the Karnataka assembly elections, he had to face defeat.
Joshi claimed that, in the Karnataka elections, the BJP contested by putting forward the face of PM Modi, even after that it had to face defeat. Now, the public has understood the lies of the Prime Minister. Joshi said that the way the BJP tried to polarise Karnataka by raising issues like Bajrang Bali, Muslim reservation, the victory of Congress shows the declining graph of BJP and Modi, which is a sign of a bleak future ahead for them.
Joshi said that the way the graph of the Congress is increasing after Himachal Pradesh, it is clearly evident that, in the upcoming municipal elections, Panchayat elections and Lok Sabha elections in Uttarakhand, the public will lend full support to the Congress, and the BJP will face a huge rout.
