Dehradun, 7 Jan: Soon, mustard oil will be provided along with ration. To implement this, the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Minister Rekha Arya has instructed the officials to prepare a proposal. The Minister reviewed various schemes with all the district supply officers in a virtual meeting held on Tuesday.
After the meeting in the Assembly Hall, Arya stated that the state’s paddy procurement figures for this financial year have been satisfactory, and the officers have been urged to increase the procurement in the next financial year. The Minister also directed for the quick approval of the proposal to implement women’s reservation in the allocation of ration shops, calling it an important and effective change that needs to be expedited.
