Cooperatives Minister distributes appointment letters to 167 recruits to Cooperative Banks

Dehradun, 27 Nov: Cooperatives Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat distributed appointment letters to 167 candidates selected for Cooperative Banks, here, today.

The candidates were selected through IBPS for various positions, including Class 3 Clerk, Junior Assistant, Junior Branch Manager, and Senior Branch Manager. These candidates will be joining the cooperative banks in the districts of Tehri, Haridwar, Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital, Pithoragarh, Almora, Kotdwar, and Chamoli.

Upon receiving their appointment letters from the Minister and the Secretary, Cooperatives, the selected candidates expressed their happiness. One of the selected candidates, Seema Bisht, expressed her gratitude and said she was honoured to receive the appointment letter directly from the Cooperatives Minister and Secretary.

Dr Dhan Singh Rawat congratulated the selected candidates and wished them success in their new roles. He said that this gift, before the new year, would bring joy in their lives. He emphasised that success had come as a result of hard work, dedication, and commitment. He also mentioned that banking work is not a regular task but a significant responsibility.

Cooperatives Secretary Dilip Jawalkar stated that the government is continuously working to make Uttarakhand the best state in the country. He highlighted efforts to strengthen the banking system in the state. He congratulated all the selected candidates and assured them that the government is striving for 100% appointments in state and district cooperative banks. He expressed hope that all selected candidates would work with honesty and dedication to promote the cooperative movement.

On this occasion, Additional Registrar of Cooperatives, Ira Upreti, Anand Shukla, Joint Registrar Neeraj Belwal, Mangla Tripathi, Managing Director of Uttarakhand State Cooperative Union, Ramindri Mandarwal, and senior officials and staff from the cooperatives department were present.
