Day 3 of Grafest-25 buzzed with vibrant events

Dehradun, 3 May: At Graphest-25, students proved that talent knows no boundaries. Around 5,000 students from India and abroad showcased their skills in Graphic Era today.
The third day Grafest- 25 buzzed with vibrant events. The impressive music talent reached a crescendo at the inter- university band war competition. Team Alchemy of Graphic Era Deemed University, Team Trishul of Graphic Era Hill University’s Dehradun campus, Team Satrang from Hill University’s Bhimtal campus and Team Panchi from Haldwani campus created waves with their musical expertise. Rap by Purujit Bhatt, Vinay Uniyal, Tanishq, Priyanshu, Shobhit and instrumental performances by Anant Sagar, Vansh, Ravi Mahar, Sushant Nautiyal, Mohammad Ghulam, Amogh Bhatt received huge applauses and cheers from the audience.
On this occasion, students sang along with Ayushi Dey, Avantika, Krati Rastogi, Adarsh Anand. Group singing performances by Team Red Flag, Team Swar Storm, Team RIT, and Team Moksha kept the atmosphere melodious. The technical competitions continued on the third day. Students from Dubai, Egypt and all over India participated in a Hackathon competition organized by the CSE Department. In this, Team CyberX from Dubai Amity created a ML model for early detection of neuro diseases. The team included Sultan Noushad, Meghraj Sharma and Ankur Das. Team Fluency from Alexandria University, Egypt developed a model based on hash in cyber-security. This team included Yousef Aymen, Shahd Yasser, Shams Abdelbasnet and Gerome George.
Graphic Era Deemed University’s Team Rocket (Akmal and Swati) won first prize in rubber power glider competition. The Department of Food Science & Technology organized a competition to make dishes from leftover food. Trisha, Muskan, Sunita and Mansi’s team secured first position. They prepared cake from banana peels, jelly from beetroot and mouth freshner from mango seeds. Team from Tula’s Institute secured first position in Biotechnology Department’s rise of venture competition. Winning team included Rishabh Kumar Mandal, Akansha Chauhan, Hari Singh Joshi and Rabina Kumari Sah. Yash Kansal and Parul’s Team Dholu from Lovely Professional University, Punjab won Mechanical Department’s robo war competition.
 Students danced enthusiastically to DJ Abee’s beats till late night and were seen having fun with their peers. Chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institutions Dr. Kamal Ghanshala, Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Deemed University Dr. Narpinder Singh along with Officials, faculty members and thousands of students from both Universities were present in the event.
