Deepak Bhatia elected President of Bannu Biradari Dehradun

Dehradun, 7 Apr: A meeting for the formation of Bannu Biradari Dehradun was held at the residence of Bannu School President, Amit Kapoor. The meeting was chaired by Amit Kapoor, while proceedings were conducted by School Manager Sanjeev Virmany.

During the meeting, Deepak Bhatia was unanimously elected as the President of Bannu Biradari Dehradun. His name was formally proposed and announced by Amit Kapoor.

On this occasion, MLA, Dehradun Cantt, Savita Kapoor, was also unanimously appointed as the Chief Patron of the organisation. She assured her full support to the Biradari.

The newly formed executive committee includes the following office bearers, all appointed unanimously: General Secretary, Sardar Santok Nagpal; Treasurer, Ramesh Khanijo; Senior Vice President, Vicky Khanna; Patrons Amarnath Ahuja, Somnath Bhatia, Madan Chandna, Bhim Virmany, and Tilak Raj Chandna.

Members present at the meeting resolved to strengthen the organisation, promote unity within the community, and work continuously for social upliftment.

Addressing the gathering, Amit Kapoor emphasised that the Bannu Biradari is like a family and called upon everyone to work collectively for its progress. Newly elected President Deepak Bhatia stated that efforts would be made to organise regular meetings and encourage participation of youth, women, and children, while promoting social and cultural activities.

Several prominent members of the community were present on the occasion, including Sanjay Chandna, Amit Bhatia, Dr Raman Nakra, Charanjit Bhatia, Bhushan Bhatia, Amarnath Muniyal, and others.
