New Delhi, 13 Jan: Dehradun Hills Academy (DDHA) has been honoured with a 5-Star Ranking and Grade A+ by the CED Foundation at a prestigious ceremony held in New Delhi. This recognition reaffirms DDHA’s status as one of India’s leading schools, celebrated for its innovative teaching methodologies and holistic approach to education.
This accolade comes after a rigorous selection process that assessed over 1,456 schools nationwide. Only the top 100 institutions were recognised for their outstanding contributions to education and societal development, making this achievement a testament to DDHA’s dedication to fostering academic excellence and essential life skills in its students.
At the core of DDHA’s success lies its unique educational philosophy, guided by the motto “Happy, Healthy, Inspired” and the belief that “Small is Beautiful”. These principles have enabled the academy to deliver a personalised, hands-on approach to learning, ensuring that each student receives the attention and opportunities required for comprehensive development.
The ceremony also celebrated Yudhishter Puran Singh, Managing Director of DDHA, who was conferred the India Iconic Edu Leader Award for his ‘visionary leadership and exceptional contributions to education’.
Two of India’s most esteemed education leaders presented the awards. Professor Dinesh Singh, Chancellor of KR Mangalam University and former Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University, and Dr Sridhar Srivastava, Joint Director, NCERT, and Chairman of the National Institute for Open Schooling (NIOS).
In his acceptance speech, Singh expressed his gratitude to the CED Foundation and emphasised the collaborative effort behind the recognition. “This award is a testament to the dedication, passion, and teamwork that define Dehradun Hills Academy. We are committed to providing an environment that integrates academic excellence with character development, ensuring our students grow into responsible and well-rounded individuals,” he said.
Upon hearing the news of the school’s achievement, Sunil Jakhmola, Principal of Dehradun Hills Academy, stated, “The vision of Dehradun Hills Academy has always been to think out of the box, and raising conscious and well-rounded individuals has been a priority.
