Dehradun, 3 Mar: The annual official visit of the District Governor to Rotary Club Dehradun concluded successfully, here, yesterday.
The DG, Ramesh Bajaj, accompanied by Rekha Bajaj, was received warmly by the members of RCD.
Post reception, the DG held a review meeting with the President, Nagma Farooq, Secretary, Treasurer and other board members. In the evening, an official welcome function was organised in honour of the visiting couple.
The function, held at Hotel Madhuban, introduced and showcased the various works, activities and projects taken up by the Club during the last 7 months. A detailed report by the Secretary, Patricia Hilton, was presented through PPT.
The DG and the ‘First Lady’, both delivered inspiring and motivating speeches and also appreciated the Club for its active functioning even in hard Covid times. The 35 odd members present applauded their addresses.
