Dehradun, 4 Nov: In compliance with the directions of District Magistrate Savin Bansal, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sadar conducted a surprise inspection of the Krishi Utpadan Mandi Parishad office here today. As of 10:15 a.m., only one employee, Pradeep Kumar, a supervisor, was present in the office, while 19 employees, including the officer, were absent.
To stop the salaries of the absent employees, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Har Giri prepared a file and sent it to the District Magistrate. The District Magistrate had been receiving daily complaints about the Krishi Utpadan Mandi Parishad office, that the people were facing issues due to the arbitrariness of the officers and employees.
The District Magistrate has issued a strict and clear warning to the officers and employees posted in the district Mandi office, emphasising that the public should not face difficulties in the offices. He also issued a warning that in case any complaints are received in the future, the responsible individuals will face consequences, and strict action will be taken against the negligent employees.
