Dehradun, 4 Aug: Former MLA Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion’s wife has filed a complaint at Dalanwala Police Station against three individuals for allegedly duping her of Rs 47.5 lakh. Based on her statement, the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.

According to the complainant Rani Devyani Singh, she is a member of the BJP State Executive and has been elected as a District Panchayat member three times. Due to her political background, she meets many people.

During this time, she came in contact with Pradeep Agarwal, his son Parish Agarwal, and nephew Sunny Agarwal, all residents of Dehradun. They offered her an investment proposal which she found convincing, and over time, she transferred a total of Rs 47.5 lakh to them on different dates.

However, when she did not receive any returns, she asked for her money back. The accused started making excuses and avoided repayment. Later, Devyani Singh came to know that several criminal cases were already registered against them and proceedings under the Gangster Act were also underway.

She further alleged that the accused forged her signature to prepare a fake deed in the name of their company, “Shivam Mines and Minerals”. A photocopy of this fake document was also sent to her mobile number, which raised serious doubts about a deeper conspiracy and fraud.
