Dehradun, 30 Jun: The Indian Industries Association (IIA) Dehradun held its annual session with great enthusiasm here on 29 June, bringing together officials, industry leaders and entrepreneurs under one roof to discuss the future of local businesses.
The gathering saw the presence of Deputy Labour Commissioner Umesh Chandra Rai, District Industries Centre GM Dr Anjali Rawat, Ayurvedic Drug Controller Dr Nayal Chayal, Garhwal Post MD Satish Sharma and well-known motivational speaker Vaibhav Pandey, whose presence made the event more inspiring.
Outgoing President Puneet Wadhwa shared highlights of the chapter’s work throughout the year, emphasising how the Dehradun unit has guided and supported small and medium industries with training, handholding and timely advice. Divisional President Tarun Goyal spoke about IIA’s vision to strengthen the backbone of the local economy through MSMEs.
A new leadership team was also introduced to carry this vision forward. Archit Dawar will lead as President, supported by Anshuman Goyal as Vice President and Akshat Bansal as Secretary. Sapan Gupta and Rahul Jain will serve as Joint Secretaries, while Vineet Yadav and Sardhika Munjal will handle treasury responsibilities.
New committee members including Harshit Gupta, Pawan Mittal, Varun Vasan, Shivam Agarwal, Pathik Lohariya and Mridul Jain were also welcomed.
The session ended with a warm vote of thanks and a shared pledge to make the MSME sector stronger, more resilient and ready to create more opportunities for the region.
