GEU’s Vinayak becomes NCC Youth Ambassador to UK

Dehradun, 8 May: Students of Graphic Era are raising the Indian flag high on the international platforms. Graphic Era student Vinayak Thakur has been selected to represent India as a youth ambassador in the United Kingdom.

Vinayak Thakur is a student of Computer Science and Engineering at Graphic Era Deemed University and as serves as Senior Under Officer in NCC. He was selected for the NCC Youth Exchange Programme for his outstanding performance in the Republic Day Parade this year. Under this, he will now represent India as a youth ambassador in the United Kingdom. During this time, he will participate in programmes related to defence cooperation forums, cultural exchange and leadership development.

Vinayak has also been a part of the Prime Minister’s rally and flag area in the Republic Day Parade this year. He was awarded the title of Best Cadet by the Uttarakhand Directorate (Army Wing). Chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institution Dr. Kamal Ghanshala congratulated Vinayak and said that this achievement is a matter of pride for Graphic Era as well as NCC and Uttarakhand. The students of Graphic Era are giving proof of their discipline, dedication and talent not only in the country but also abroad.
