Dehradun, 19 Sep: BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt today took a jibe at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, claiming that it seems that Kharge had mistakenly sent his letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi instead of sending it to his leader Rahul Gandhi. Bhatt said, if he had advised Rahul Gandhi regarding basic knowledge of national security, sovereignty and goodwill, it would have been then writing a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. There was no need for him to write a letter to Modi. The BJP State President also reminded that Congress President Mallikarjun’s own record is tainted with a chain of indecent remarks against BJP leaders.

Bhatt claimed that BJP National President JP Nadda’s letter addressed to Mallikarjun Kharge reveals the real agenda of Rahul Puran of the Congress party, adding that everyone knows that despite many major and obvious shortcomings of Rahul Gandhi, it is Kharge’s and the Congress party’s compulsion to glorify him. But there is no compulsion before the BJP leaders or the country to support the anti-national, the anti-social and the anti-development ideas and agenda of Rahul Gandhi. Gandhi goes abroad and attempts to spoil the country’s image by spreading the poison of casteism.

Bhatt, who is also a Rajya Sabha MP, asserted that before protesting against the criticism of their leader Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leaders should mull over his anti-national statements and actions. Unfortunately, his statements and actions are openly supported by many Congress leaders and the leaders of INDI Alliance.  Bhatt said that, very conveniently, the Congress leaders forget that many top Congress leaders have said insulting things about PM Modi.

The BJP leader emphasised that Rahul Gandhi has abused the entire OBC community including the Prime Minister of the country by calling them thieves. He has used extremely indecent words against the PM and has even threatened to beat him with a stick. He claimed that the casteist and anti Sanatan mentality of Rahul Gandhi is known to the whole country now. Even the topmost leader of the Congress party, Sonia Gandhi had called Modi a ‘merchant of death’ (Maut Ka Saudagar). The Congress and its allies have abused PM Modi more than 110 times in the last 10 years. Kharge never objected to all such malicious and shameful statements. Therefore, he has no moral authority to complain about statements on Rahul Gandhi and about the dignity in politics.

Bhatt alleged that Rahul Gandhi has filled his “shop of love” with the “goods of hatred”. He always goes abroad to oppose Modi and to tarnish the image of the country. Therefore, Kharge does not need to write a letter to anyone else, but to Rahul Gandhi explaining to him and other Congress leaders about the reality.  He should first himself refrain from making indecent statements.
