Dehradun, 14 Jul: A delegation of the Central Working Committee of the Gorkhali Mahasabha gifted a ‘Tamrapatra’ to Mahant Devendra Das during a visit to the Guru Ram Rai Darbar, here, today. Mahant Devendra Das offered his blessings to the President of the Gorkhali Mahasabha, Padam Singh, and other Central Working Committee members.
The delegation was welcomed at the Darbar Sahib in the traditional manner. Padam Singh reminded the Mahant that the Gorkhali Mahasabha has been associated for long with the Darbar Sahib.
The Mahant assured the delegation that the Shri Guru Ram Rai Education Mission will undertake all the possible tasks for the welfare of the Gorkhali society. He expressed the hope that both the institutions will jointly work as associates in the field of social service. Also present were Mahasabha Vice President Pooja Subba, Captain YB Thapa, Gopal Singh Chettri, Sanjay Thapa, etc.
