Goswami Ganesh Dutt remembered with Bhajan Sandhya, free health camp

Haridwar, 10 Jun: The 66th death anniversary of the founder president of the Sabha, ‘Tyag Murti’ Goswami Ganesh Dutt Maharaj was celebrated with reverence at the Sapt Rishi Ashram here, today, under the aegis of ‘Shri Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha (Punjab)’, New Delhi. On this occasion, a Shrimad Bhagwat Gyan Yagna Katha Saptah, Bhajan Sandhya, Free Health Checkup Camp, Shraddhanjali Sabha, Bhajan Sandhya and Havan Yagna were also organised.

Floral tributes and emotional homage were offered at the samadhi of Goswami Ganesh Dutt Maharaj situated on the sacred banks of the Ganga at the Sapt Rishi Ashram.

Speaking at the tribute meeting, MP Satpal Brahmachari mentioned the works done by Tyag Murti Goswami Ganesh Dutt in the field of propagation of Sanatan Dharma, spirituality and education and said that Tyag Murti did many great works in this field which can never be forgotten.

MP Satpal Brahmachari said that the embodiment of sacrifice, Goswami Ganesh Dutt Maharaj, did great work in the field of education and spirituality.

National President of the Sabha, Dr Deshbandhu said that Goswami Ganesh Dutt Maharaj, raised awareness against social evils.

The acting president of the Sabha, Indra Mohan Goswami, said that Tyagmurti was a great social reformer along with spiritual leader. On this occasion, Mahant Devanand Maharaj and Mahamandaleshwar Swami Jagdish Das Maharaj expressed their views at the Sant Sammelan. The tribute meeting was conducted by Acharya Shyamlal Gaur. On this occasion, the ‘Sanatan Samvardhini’ magazine was released.

A free health check-up camp was organised in collaboration with Max Hospital Dehradun. The camp was jointly inaugurated by Haridwar Municipal Corporation Mayor Kiran Jaisal, Sabha National President Dr Deshbandhu and Councillor Akash Bhati. Mayor Kiran Jaisal got her health checked by the doctors who came to the camp. Physician Dr Shivangi Basal, orthopaedics department’s Dr Shubham Bhatt, nursing staff Neha and Mansi and administrative officer Himanshu Saini helped in making the health camp a success.

In the general body meeting of Shri Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha (Punjab), New Delhi, first of all, the brutal killing of Hindu tourists by Pakistani terrorists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir was strongly condemned, and tribute was paid to the Hindu martyrs of Pahalgam by publicly reciting Gayatri Mantra thrice.

The work being done in education and various fields was reviewed. The meeting was chaired by the national president Dr Deshbandhu and conducted by general secretary Gurdeep Sharma. Acting president IM Goswami, RM Madan, Subhash Sharma, Dr Rajiv Sharma, Upendra Sharma, Arun Sharma, Mahant Swaroop Bihari Sharan, Sunil Dutt Pandey, Manoj Khanna, etc., were present in the meeting.
