Dehradun, 8 Aug: Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) visited the Military Hospital here, today, to meet and enquire about the wellbeing of soldiers injured during the recent natural disaster in the Dharali region.
During his visit, the Governor interacted with the admitted soldiers, commended their courage, resilience, and dedication to duty, and wished them a speedy recovery. He also listened to their personal accounts of the incident and appreciated their high morale and indomitable spirit.
The Governor obtained a detailed briefing from the attending doctors regarding the health condition of the injured soldiers and instructed that they be provided with all necessary and appropriate medical care.
On this occasion, GOC, Sub Area, Major General MPS Gill, along with other senior Army officials, was also present.
