Dehradun, 7 Aug: Taking cognisance of the news published by Garhwal Post and of the complaint filed by leading industrialist Sudhir Windlass against realtors Kirti Aggarwal and Rishu Aggarwal, the government has directed the District Magistrate, Dehradun, and the MDDA to conduct a thorough inquiry into the allegations.

It may also be pertinent to point out here that Windlass had registered a complaint in this regard with the Prime Minister’s Office, too. The Prime Minister’s Office also has sent a letter to the Chief Secretary, Uttarakhand, calling for appropriate action on the complaint filed by Sudhir Windlass. A reply has been sought in this regard from the Chief Secretary.
It may be recalled that Garhwal Post had published a news story in this regard in which Windlass had alleged irregular and illegal land deals purportedly done by the realtors, Kirti Aggarwal and Rishu Aggarwal. Windlass had alleged that the majority of the land purchases and sales undertaken by the Aggarwals were without proper approvals, including that of RERA and MDDA, which was a clear violation of the laws.
A letter to this effect has been written under the signature of Additional Secretary Anand Srivastava on behalf of the government. This letter directs the District Magistrate, Dehradun, and the MDDA to complete the inquiry and submit a report to the Government within a period of one month.
