DEHRADUN, 24 Oct: Students of Graphic Era Global School celebrated Diwali with their Grandparents. They participated in various cultural programmes like singing, dancing and acting. On the occasion, the children presented various cultural programmes for their elders and sought blessings from them. On the occasion, Chief Guest RC Ghanshala, Chief Patron, Graphic Era Group, shed light on the importance of the Diwali Festival and advised the students to celebrate a safe Diwali and use green crackers under parental surveillance. The main highlight of the programme was the play presented by the class 5 students dedicated to Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel based on National Unity. Akshit, Yatarth, Sanskriti and Lavanya received huge appreciation from everyone. The students of classes 3 to 5, Arjun Ghanshala, Aradhna, Sara and Shreya presented a play on the increasing use of Social Media in today’s world. Principal of Graphic Era Global School Shalini Rawat, staff members and students were present on the occasion. The programme was anchored by students of class 5, Pankhuri and Vidisha Semwal.
