Dehradun, 29 Apr: Graphic Era has become the country’s fourth institute to offer an MBA degree in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development (IEVD). This announcement was made during an Entrepreneur’s Conclave in Graphic Era, here, today. The conclave was organised with the intention of making MBA students of the University interact with entrepreneurs who have established their business after facing various challenges in their lives.
Founder of Bullseye Shooting Aacademy, former MBA student of the University and National Shooter, Arun Singh shared his experiences with the students and apprised them about the intricacies and initial challenges while starting a new endeavour. He said that one should have at least one skill which can become one’s USP. For this, they would have to figure out their priorities and have faith in themselves. Only then would they be able to achieve what they had never even dreamt of in their lives. He also said that, at times, scarcity of a product in a way promotes the brand equity by enhancing the need among customers.
Motivating the students, Founder of Doon Valley Agro Rituraj Singh Pundeer said that one must have the guts to take risks in order to begin a start-up. Before starting a business, one ought to keep a plan ready and keep in mind that a plan is a plan, there is nothing called a good plan or a bad plan. He also added that one must never regret any decision taken in life.
Citing examples of established entrepreneurs, Director of Himalayan Enterprises Rameshwar Bahuguna said it was not mandatory to follow someone, but it was important to learn from the outcome of their work.
