Graphic Era signs MOU with NIT on joint research

Dehradun, 23 Mar: Graphic Era signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Institute of Technology (NIT), Srinagar, for promoting joint research today. As per the MOU, research scholars from Graphic Era Deemed University and Graphic Era Hill University will now collaborate with NIT, Srinagar, to carry out joint research work and projects. The MOU will further help in promoting faculty and student exchange between Graphic Era and NIT, Srinagar.

Director, NIT, Srinagar, Prof Dr Lalit Awasti said that this MOU would not only encourage joint research and teaching learning programmes between Graphic Era and NIT, Srinagar, but also help set up a conducive environment for research in the three institutes. He added that the New Education Policy aims to provide a flexible environment to students for studies. The MOU keeps this flexibility in mind and offers research facilities and infrastructure in the three institutes to students so that they can choose to specialise in the area of their interest. Senior advisor, Graphic Era Group, Prof (Dr) RC Joshi said that MOUs between educational institutes create a creative environment not only for the institutes, but also for students and teachers there. This is a win-win situation for institutes that have such MOUs.

The MOU was signed today by Director, NIT, Srinagar, Prof (Dr) Lalit Awasti, Dean Prof Hariharan Muthuswami, Senior advisor, Graphic Era Group, Prof (Dr) RC Joshi, Director General, Graphic Era Deemed University, Prof (Dr) Sanjay Jasola, Director General, Graphic Era Hill University, Prof (Dr) HN Nagaraja and Registrar, Graphic Era Hill University, Dr Arvind Dhar.
