Muskaan Foundation honours social workers & doctors

Haridwar, 30 Jun: The social organisation Muskaan Foundation today honoured and welcomed the city’s doctors, social workers, and a minister of state appointed by the Uttarakhand government. On this occasion, the felicitation ceremony was organised by Muskaan Foundation President, social worker Neha Malik. The program was inaugurated by the guests by lighting a lamp.

At the event, Ganga Sabha President Nitin Gautam was given a warm welcome for being given Minister of State rank by the Uttarakhand government. He was presented with a robe, a turban, and a memento. Karan Malhotra was also honoured for being appointed the provincial president of the Punjabi Mahasabha, Uttarakhand.

On the eve of Doctors’ Day, renowned physician Dr Sandhya Sharma, renowned diabetes specialist Dr MS Singhal, renowned pathologist Dr Ravikant Sharma, Dr Alka Singhal, Dr Sweekriti Singh, Dr Rahul Vaidya, and Dr Sankhya Sharma were honoured with mementos and robes. Social workers Avinash Ohri, Jagdish Lal Pahwa, Green Man Vijaypal Singh Baghel, Pramod Kumar Sharma, Yogacharya Rajneesh Kumar, writer Dr Radhika Nagarath, and Jitendra Singh were also present.

Ganga Sabha President Nitin Gautam said that he will honestly discharge the responsibility given to him by the government in the field of rural health, and health facilities will be further increased in rural areas. Dr Sandhya Sharma said that doctors should serve patients selflessly. Dr MS Singhal said that Doctor’s Day is celebrated every year on 1 July. Doctors should fulfil their duty of medicine honestly.

Muskaan Foundation President Neha Malik said that this year, the organisation has decided to honour the guardians of society and doctors who play a leading role in the field of social service.
