Dehradun, 29 Nov: Navy Day, observed annually, marks the Indian Navy’s remarkable success during the 1971 Indo-Pak war, particularly the decisive attack on Karachi. To honour this historic achievement, the Indian Navy organises a series of activities and events as part of Navy week celebrations.
As a part of the ongoing Navy Week 2024 celebrations, the National Hydrographic Office (NHO), Dehradun, hosted visits by cadets from the Indian Military Academy (IMA) from 26 to 29 November. Over 400 cadets participated in the visit, gaining first-hand insights into the operational functions of the office through guided tours of its various sections.
