CM conducts surprise inspection of CHC in Gairsain

Gairsain, 17 Mar: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted a surprise inspection of the Community Health Centre in Gairsain today. During the inspection, he inquired about the availability of medicines and other necessary facilities for the patients in the hospital. The Chief Minister also inquired about the condition of the patients admitted in the hospital.
On this occasion, Dhami also reviewed the progress on the new building of the 50-bed sub-district hospital being constructed as announced by him. He directed the executing agency to complete work at the earliest. The Chief Minister said that continuous efforts are being made by the government to improve the health facilities in the state. Rapid work is being done in the direction of strengthening the health facilities in the remote and inaccessible areas of the state. This time, the budget has been increased under the Ayushman Yojana. He added that it is the priority of the government to ensure that every needy person gets due benefits under this scheme.
Present on this occasion were MLAs Anil Nautiyal, Bhupal Ram Tamta, Munna Singh Chauhan, Secretary, Health, Dr RK Rajesh Kumar, District Magistrate, Chamoli, Himanshu Khurana, SP Pramendra Dobhal, CMO Dr Rajiv Sharma, Additional District Magistrate Abhishek Tripathi and officials of the Health Department.
