Dehradun, 12 Dec: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a review of the Sashakt Uttarakhand @ 2025 initiative at the Secretariat here today. On this occasion, he stressed greatly on the importance of innovation to boost the state’s economy. He reminded all departments of the previous instructions to work on two game-changing schemes by Uttarakhand’s Silver Jubilee Year and also sought a detailed progress report regarding this in the upcoming meeting.

The CM reminded the officers of the goal to double the state’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) by 2027. He urged departments concerned to work swiftly according to short-term, medium-term, and long-term plans towards achieving this goal. Dhami emphasised that the results of their work should be fully visible on the ground, with a focus on quality and timeliness. Secretaries and Heads of Departments are personally responsible for accelerating the projects, he asserted.

He called for special attention to innovation in areas like agriculture, horticulture, energy, tourism, and AYUSH, in view of their potential for economic growth and employment opportunities in the state. The CM also sought effective efforts to quickly implement the investment proposals received during the Investor Summit.
