Jain Community has always stood with nation in times of crisis: CM Dhami

Uttarakhand Samagra Jain Samaj Sammelan concludes successfully

Dehradun, 7 Sep: The ‘Uttarakhand Samagra Jain Samaj Sammelan’ was organised with great enthusiasm and devotion at Jain Bhawan, Gandhi Road, here, in the presence of Acharya Saurabh Sagar Ji Maharaj, Ravindra Muni Ji Maharaj, and Jyotish Diwakar Rajesh Muni Ji, with the collaboration of 31 and Pushpa Varsha Yoga Samiti.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The event was conducted by Vipin Jain and witnessed participation from religious followers representing 31 cities across India, including various regions of Uttarakhand.

The Veeranganas of Jain Milan Mahila Ekta welcomed the gathering with a melodious welcome song. Chief Minister Dhami was formally welcomed and felicitated with a memento by senior members of the Jain community.

Prominent attendees included Rajiv Jain, Lokesh Jain, Padma Shri awardee Dr RK Jain, Sukhmal Jain, Satish Jain, Praveen Jain, Amit Jain, Sachin Jain, Shravan Jain, Om Jain, Sadhuram Jain, Surendra Jain, and Media Coordinator Madhu Sachin Jain, among others.

In his address, Chief Minister Dhami extended heartfelt greetings to the Jain community on the occasion of Paryushan Parva and Chaturmas. He lauded the community’s steadfast commitment to the principles of peace, non-violence, and co-existence, and praised their contributions to nation-building and social welfare. “The Jain community, with its message of ‘live and let live’, has always stood with the nation during times of crisis,” he said. He also assured that all reasonable demands and welfare proposals of the Jain community would be considered positively. “The Jain community resides in my heart,” he added.

Pujya Acharya Shri Saurabh Sagar Ji Maharaj appreciated the Chief Minister’s leadership and emphasized that his efforts are paving the way for a stress-free India, a stress-free Uttarakhand, and a harmonious society.

In his spiritual discourse, Param Pujya Upadhyaya Shri Ravindra Muni Ji Jyotish Diwakar Rajesh Muni Ji highlighted the peace-loving nature and nationalistic contributions of the Jain community in fields like education, culture, and public service. He cited the impactful work of organizations like Jeeto, Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana, Bharatiya Jain Milan, and Bharat Jain Mahamandal, and noted that over 500 Jain youth are currently serving the nation in esteemed roles like IAS, IPS, and IFS.

The Sammelan concluded with a renewed sense of unity, pride, and dedication among the Jain community. Members of the Uttarakhand Jain Samaj, Jain saints, representatives of social and youth organizations, eminent citizens, and social workers like Bina Jain and Babita Jain marked their presence and support.
