Dehradun, 14 Sep: BJP leader Ravindra Jugran, in discussions with the Additional Secretary of Higher Education and the Vice-Chancellor of Kumaon University, has demanded that the U-SET examination be conducted at the earliest.
Jugran stated that this examination was held two years ago after a gap of six years but has not been conducted again after that.
The Additional Secretary and the Vice-Chancellor of Kumaon University assured Jugran that the examination would be held soon.
Jugran further stated that advertisements for the recruitment of Assistant Professors may be released any time in the coming month, and therefore, it is essential to hold the Uttarakhand State Eligibility Test (U-SET) at the earliest so that local candidates of Uttarakhand can benefit from it.
