Dehradun, 9 Jul: The ‘Kalash Sthapana’ programme of the ‘31st Mangal Varshayoga’ was held with great devotion and enthusiasm in the presence of Acharya Saurabh Sagar Mahamuniraj, the disciple of Ganacharya Pushpadant Sagar Mahamuniraj, the pioneer of Pushpagiri Teerth, here, today. The sacred ceremony took place at the Shri Digambar Jain Panchayati Temple and Jain Bhawan (Jain Dharamshala), Gandhi Road.

The event commenced with a soulful invocation presented by the Saurabh Sagar Mahila Samiti, followed by a welcome song by the Saurabh Sagar Balika Mandal.

A grand unveiling of the portraits of Bhagwan Mahavir Swami and Ganacharya Pushpadant Sagar Mahamuniraj was held, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. This was done by the Chief Guest, Mayor Saurabh Thapliyal, Special Guest MLA Khajan Das, and Shri Vishal Gupta of Saurabh Sagar Seva Sansthan, Ghaziabad, along with representatives of Saurabhchal Committee, Ganaur, and other distinguished members of society.

On this auspicious occasion, Acharya Saurabh Sagar emphasised the importance of unity and selflessness in society. He stated, ““A true leader works as a charioteer, not for personal gain. Where there is no unity in society, degradation follows — be it in the home, society, or nation. But the Jain community here has demonstrated remarkable coordination and unity, which deserves heartfelt appreciation. Those who remain in constant spiritual contact and perform Guru Bhakti with sincerity receive immense spiritual fortune. Chaturmas Kalash is not just a religious symbol, but a medium to instil values in future generations.”

He added, “Even the difficult becomes easy when one walks the path of devotion. Those who serve their Guru wholeheartedly command even destiny.”

The event was compered by Pt Sandeep Jain Sajal of Indore. A large number of devotees from Lucknow, Delhi, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Sardhana, Muzaffarnagar, Bina Ganj, Jaipur, Roorkee, Haridwar, Bareilly, and other cities graced the occasion.
