Dehradun, 3 Feb: Kasiga School celebrated its Graduation Day, here, today. The event was presided over by the School Chairman, Ramesh Batta, and the first lady, Poonam Batta. Director, Welfare Chandni Batta, and Director, Finance and Administration, Siddharth Batta were also present.
The event began with lighting of the ceremonial lamp, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. It was followed by the Passing of the Light Ceremony. The Head of School passed the light to the graduating class with the hope and wish that they would keep it always ignited in them.
Head of School Dr Rajput addressed the gathering and encouraged the students to chase their dreams and emerge as winners.
The graduating class came together to render a melodious song, titled ‘Carry Your Candle’. They were honoured and presented mementoes as a token of love and appreciation from the school. The event also featured addresses from the graduating students. They were filled with nostalgia while describing their beautiful journey at Kasiga School. To honour the outstanding hard work and successof the graduating class, 4 students of the batch, Ashna Vohra, Sukesh Billakanti, Pavitr Agarwal and Panna Tyagi were bestowed valedictorian certificates.
The Chairman congratulated the students and wished them luck for their future endeavours.
The event concluded with an enthralling performance by the school band.
