Law College Dehradun students celebrate Children’s Day at Primary School, Nalapani

Dehradun, 14 Nov: Law College Dehradun of Uttaranchal University celebrated Children’s Day with the children of Rajkiya Prathmik Vidhyalaya, Nalapani, under the aegis of its Rotaract Club.

Law students reached Nalapani School under the leadership of Dean and Pro Vice Chancellor of the college, Prof Rajesh Bahuguna, and in-charge of Rotaract Club of the college, Amit Chaudhary. The students distributed necessary stationery items and sweets to the children studying there. On this occasion, small children enthralled the audience by presenting poems, songs and dances.

Seeing the enthusiasm of the children, the Law students also danced with them.

Principal of Nalapani School, Vishnu Maya Shahi said that the students of the Law College had come to the school for the second consecutive time.

In his address, Dr Rajesh Bahuguna wished everyone a Happy Children’s Day. He said that the primary school of Nalapani is one of the oldest in Dehradun, which was established in 1912. This school gave a large number of army officers to the country, and former minister Hira Singh Bist.

On this occasion, teachers Savita Rani Pal and Vandana Pathak, administrator Lalit Kumar, DL Ed trainer Nitin Kumar, Neetu Badoni, Vanshika, Sumant, Ananya, Saloni, Kritika, Yuvika Aswal, Aditya, Adesh and a large number of students were among those present.
