New Delhi, 25 Jul: State Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj participated in the 203rd Independence Day programme of the Republic of Peru, here, and extended his best wishes to Peruvian Ambassador Javier Manuel Paulinich Velarde.
State Panchayati Raj, Rural Construction, Tourism, Public Works, Irrigation, Culture and Water Resources Minister Satpal Maharaj on Thursday participated in the 203rd Independence Day programme of the Republic of Peru at ITC Maurya, Kamal Mahal, and extended his best wishes to Peruvian Ambassador Javier Manuel Paulinich Velarde.
Maharaj said that wool from Peru’s domesticated animals like llama and alpaca could very beneficial for Uttarakhand. He added that Peru is one of the most favourite culinary destinations in South America. Peru’s restaurants serve memorable dishes, which is why food lovers and chefs keep coming to this region. Peru also has a wide range of unique crops. There are many similarities between Uttarakhand’s environment and that of Peru.
