Minister Ganesh Joshi campaigns for Kedarnath Byelection, seeks votes for BJP Candidate

Rudraprayag, 13 Nov: On Wednesday, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi conducted a public outreach campaign in support of BJP candidate Asha Nautiyal for the upcoming Kedarnath Assembly by-election. He visited various villages in the Saterakhal Mandal, including Agastyamuni’s San Gram Panchayat, Darmwadi, Syund Gram Panchayat, and Chauki Varsil, where he held small gatherings and interacted with the locals. During his visit, he appealed to the people of Kedarnath to cast their votes in favour of the BJP.

In his address, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said, “It is unfortunate that we had to face this byelection after the sad demise of our beloved MLA Shaila Rani Rawat. She was always committed to the development of her constituency.” He further mentioned that to fulfil the aspirations and works of the late Shaila Rani Rawat, the BJP has fielded Asha Nautiyal as the candidate from Kedarnath. “The affection and respect of the people of Kedarnath for late Shaila Rani Rawat are clearly visible,” he added.

Minister Joshi appealed to the voters of Kedarnath, stating, “On 20 November, in the upcoming byelection, casting your precious vote in favour of BJP candidate Asha Nautiyal and ensuring her victory by a large margin would be the truest tribute to late Shaila Rani Rawat.”

The Minister further stated, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, our government has been working in line with the public’s emotions and needs.” He emphasised that Prime Minister Modi’s special affection for Kedarnath is well known and that the transformation of the Kedarnath temple under his guidance will never be forgotten. “Both the central and state governments are fully committed to the holistic development of Kedarnath,” he remarked.

Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi expressed confidence that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the double-engine government’s developmental efforts in Kedarnath will play a crucial role in this byelection, and the people of Kedarnath will vote in large numbers to ensure the victory of BJP candidate Asha Nautiyal. He concluded, “This election is one-sided, and BJP’s overwhelming victory is certain.”

During the interactions, Minister Joshi listened to the concerns of the villagers and assured them of efforts to resolve their issues.
