Dehradun, 27 Jul: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today chaired a meeting at his camp office with officials from the Municipal Corporation, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and the Electricity Department to review road repair works in the Mussoorie Assembly Constituency. During the meeting, he held detailed discussions on the progress of various development projects and deliberated on local issues.
The Minister directed officials to undertake the repair of damaged roads within the Municipal Corporation limits of the Mussoorie Assembly Constituency on a priority basis. He emphasised that, in view of the ongoing monsoon season, all necessary works should be completed within the stipulated timeline to ensure that residents do not face any inconvenience.
Ganesh Joshi also instructed the officials concerned to expedite the approval of pending estimates related to road repair works so that the projects can commence without delay. He stressed the need for close coordination among the Municipal Corporation, ADB, and the Electricity Department to accelerate development activities.
During the meeting, the Minister further directed officials of the Electricity Department to replace old and dilapidated electric poles on a priority basis and to properly secure loose and hanging power lines to ensure public safety. He reiterated that all departments should work in close coordination so that development projects progress efficiently and citizens receive better and safer public infrastructure in a timely manner.
Among those present at the meeting were Nandani Sharma, Surendra Rana, Mohan Bahuguna, Pradeep Rawat, Bhawna Chaudhary, Yogesh Ghaghat, Sanjay Nautiyal, Assistant Municipal Commissioner Vinay Pratap, Superintending Engineer (Electricity) Rahul Jain, along with other officials.
